Sphere Ice Tray by True

This two-part silicone mould makes six spherical ice cubes at a time. A sphere has less surface area than the equivalent volume of small cubes, so it melts more slowly and dilutes a drink more gradually, which is the point of using large ice for whiskey neat or for cocktails. The tray is made from food-safe silicone and is dishwasher safe, and the flexible mould releases the spheres without running them under a tap. It is not limited to ice: the same mould can be used with wax for candles, or for soap, bath bombs, chocolates and cake decorations.
