To serve absinthe the traditional way, lay the spoon over the glass, set a sugar cube on top and pour cool water slowly over the cube so it dissolves through the slots and dilutes the drink. The slotted leaf pattern is what allows the sugar and water to pass into the glass below. It is crafted from stainless steel, measures 6.5 inches long and is dishwasher safe.
